School Trips to Poland

Poland is known for its fascinating medieval architecture and its long standing Jewish heritage, and is the perfect destination for yours schools History or Religious Studies tour

Most of our trips to Poland visit the beautiful city of Krakow where you can stroll around the central square and visit the beautiful Wawel castle, as well as St Mary’s Basilica. We will explore the narrow streets around Kazimierz, and the landmarks of the popular Jewish quarter. We can also arrange for you to visit the Wieliczka Salt Mines which are registered on the UNESCO list and visited each year by over a million tourists.  The mines attractions include intricately carved statues, and sculptures carved out of the Rock Salt by miners.  Many student groups visit Poland on a history tour and include a visit the WW2 concentration camp situated at Auschwitz, built by the Nazis to initially hold political prisoners who arrived from 1940 onwards, but which later served as an extermination in the Holocaust.  Poland offers its visitors a reminder of its difficult past, but also proudly shows its rich heritage.
