School Trips to the American West

The American West offers endless possibilities for an educational tour. Geography students will love the spectacular National Parks of Bryce and Zion, and these can be combined with Las Vegas, Death Valley and the Hoover Dam to create a truly great road trip.

The Sierra Nevada Mountain range which runs down the spine of California is home to Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks with spectacular rock faces and waterfalls, and some of the largest giant redwood trees on the planet.  Heading west, you can travel through Death Valley which is below sea level and one of the hottest places on Earth.   Tours to California can also tour the coast down to Las Vegas and Hollywood.

Starting from the unique desert city of Las Vegas in Nevada, the National Parks of Zion and Bryce are within close range and you can also visit the Grand Canyon, Glen Canyon, Lake Powell and Monument Valley.  The Hoover Dam is also accessible.
