Religious Studies Trips

Our religious studies trips visit destinations as diverse as India, Italy and Israel, with itineraries tailored to complement your study programme.

India is a unique destination and although the majority of its citizens are Hindus, several of the world’s major religions are represented here. The Sikhs have their spiritual home in Amritsar where the Golden Temple should not be missed. In Dharamsala, the Dalai Lama’s court in exile is the highlight of this fervently Buddhist region.  Italy is another popular choice and its capital, Rome, is ideally suited to combine with history and classics study. The cradle of Christianity is to be found in present day Israel, the Holy Land to which Moses led his follows during the Exodus. Our tours include Jerusalem, Bethlehem and Galilee. Neighbouring Jordan contain a wealth of Roman ruins from the Decapolis and a number of important Jewish and Christian sites, including Mount Nebo from where Moses looked out over the Promised Land, and Bethany by the Jordan, said to be the baptismal site of Jesus.
